Hey Chad, this is a great article. I agree that the growth rate is going through the roof and over time, more and more emphasis will be placed upon consumer engagement and online presence in the marketplace (i.e. search engines).

These services can benefit any business and really enables people to leverage the power of the internet to their advantage and profit. I'm excited about the future!

Hey Chad - Enjoyed your post today on twitter's role in sales, definitely an interesting and evolving issue. On the subject of the convergence of sales and social media, I work with InsideView, who you have mentioned a couple times in previous articles. As you probably know, they coined the term 'socialprise' to describe the the intersection of social media with traditional enterprise applications to enhance sales productivity. The company has been very active signing up new clients, most recently Cast Iron Systems, and getting the word out about the tangible benefits of sales 2.0 technology. I'd love to set up some time with you and InsideView to talk further about the state of Sales 2.o, where it's headed and how InsideView is contributing. Let me know if you have some time to set up a call or maybe even get together for lunch. I think you would be interested to hear their vision for Sales 2.0 and conversely, they'd love to hear your thoughts on the industry.

Thanks,
Chris Schreiber
